Sprowston luncheon club was first established in the 1970's by one of it's co-founders Margaret Wynn. Starting at the centre as a volunteer, Margaret then joined the committee and worked her way up to chairperson. Her efforts where not left unnoticed, as she received an MBE in 2013 for her services to charity.
Since the centre has opened it has gone from strength to strength, offering elderly members of the community a place to meet on a weekly basis. We have been told that our centre provides a life line for some people, as they may not see anyone from week to week.
As well as enjoying great company with like minded people, we offer a fresh two course, home cooked meal on the days that we are open. Teas, coffee and biscuits are offered when the members arrive also.

The luncheon club is open every week on Wednesdays and Fridays.
